One Percent Plus Initiative
The ACCESS 2023 Business Expo luncheon held on May 24 included guest panelists President/CEO Jim Burke, Vistra Corp; CEO Sean Donohue, DFW International Airport; and Chairman, President and CEO Lori Ryerkerk, Celanese. The trio discussed their commitment to the DFW MSDC One Percent Plus Initiative, what their companies were doing to meet the commitment and the importance of intentional inclusion of minority businesses in the economic engine of our nation. They urged others to TAKE THE PLEDGE to increase their use of new minority suppliers and increase spend with minority suppliers by One Percent Plus year over year. The panel discussion was facilitated by Bonnie Clinton, Chair Emeritus of the DFW MSDC Board of Directors and VP and CPO Indirect Procurement at Toyota North America.
