More than 300 participants attended the inaugural Native American Business Association Kickoff Event and Vendor Fair

The newly formed National American Business Association kicked off their presence in a big way in August 2019. They held a Kickoff Event and Vendor Fair attended by more than 300 participants at the Dallas/Fort Worth Minority Council’s Activity Center. The packed come-and-go event included many corporate and public sector agency tables where attendees could talk with buyers and supplier diversity professionals about doing business with them. In addition, several of the Native American tribes hosted tables to discuss their opportunities and to meet and greet minority-owned businesses interested in partnering and/or providing goods and services.

D/FW MSDC Board Member and NABA Officer Lisa Hanlon commented, “We were excited about the overall turnout and reception,” said Hanlon. “The feedback was positive. Thank you to the Council for hosting the event at their facilities. NABA is focused on leading, connecting and empowering Native Americans in business.”

Lisa is also the CEO of Teltech Group, one of sixteen NABA partners composed of Native American owned companies and public sector agencies and corporations who organized the event.
