James (Jim) O’Neal, CEO of Frito-Lay International, becomes Chair of the Board of Directors for the Council. Frito-Lay provides a one-time grant (largest in Council history) to the Council.
The Dallas Regional Minority Purchasing Council and Fort Worth Regional Minority Purchasing Council consolidate to become the Dallas/Fort Worth Minority Business Development Council and an affiliate of the National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC).
